John Chow - BC Blogger Extraordinaire

A couple of months ago, I stumbled across the website of another BC Blogger - John Chow. He's got a little (that's an understatement) promotion going on where in exchange for reviewing his blog, he'll give you a little link love.

I'm not sure how qualified I am to be reviewing his blog, but everyone has something to say, so I thought I'd share the opinion of a new, not-sure-what-the-hell-I-have-to-talk-about, part time mommy-blogger.

I quite enjoy his site, and visit most days, just to see what he has to say. Some days he's talking about subjects that are way over my head (a techie/business/I.T. gal I am not), but more often than not, I take something valuable away from my time spent browsing there. He produces a lot of good information for promoting your blog, maintaining it, and managing it properly. English is not his first language, so he says he spends a good deal of time making sure his grammar and spelling are correct, and emphasizes to his readers just how important this is! All-in-all, he's got a great thing going - marketing tips, latest news, and even trips he takes and restaurants he dines at! Plus he's really very funny too!

I was at the local bakery a week or so ago when The Vancouver Sun had it's article profiling him. Two old birds (elderly ladies) were sitting at the table next to me, and sharing the paper.

"Lookie here, Edna - it says here this guy is making money from his computer! Can you believe it? Who the hell is this guy anyway?"

I wanted to snatch the paper away from her and say:

"Have you been living under a rock woman? That's JOHN CHOW!"
