A Dream Come True

My Uncle is a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Even though they live in southern Ontario, which is a hop, skip and a jump from Pennsylvania, he's never yet been able to attend a game.

I got an email from my cousin this afternoon, and it turns out that the whole family is going to be chipping in for steelers tickets and a hotel for his 60th birthday this year. I thought that was a pretty nice gesture, and if we all chip in it'll hardly cost each of us much at all!

Our hockey season is over for this year as the Canucks lost in overtime tonight, so I guess out attention will have to turn to football now too! :-)

As a diehard football fan (of the Indianapolis Colts), I would have to say that is an incredible birthday gift! Your uncle will be thrilled and so moved by everyone's thoughtfulness and generosity.
