My brain is mush right now, so here are 13 totally random things that happened today:1. I bought lottery tickets today (6/49 for those of you in Canada) since the jackpot was 40 million.
2. Lotto ticket purchases are cash only apparently, and since I was $5 short (I never carry cash anymore) the lady at the drug store said I could pay her later - that's a small town for you!
3. I won a whopping one dollar. Which now makes me not want to pay the $5 I owe.
4. It was rainy and cold all day today, which I complained about at length. But then realized I would probably complain just as much had it been hot out.
5. I picked up some (very expensive) wart cream for my daughter at the drug store today that the Dr had prescribed, as her warts are spreading all over her fingers and palms. I wondered why the pharmacist wouldn't look me in the eye - until I got home and read the pamphlet inside. The cream is for Genital/Perianal Warts!!! (Sure lady, it's for you daughter.... I believe you.)
6. I had my favourite dinner tonight of salmon, rice and asparagus. I mush up the salmon and mix it all together with the rice - just like the First Nations did in Ahousaht. YUM!
7. The lady in front of me at the grocery store today refused to use her member card because she believes they are spying or her, and only want to know what types of things she is buying!
8. I paid Kristanna $8 to vacuum upstairs and downstairs. I was prepared to pay $10 but she only asked for $8!
9. My neighbour called to tell me that she talked to Barb (see Manic Monday post below) and that Barb cried on the phone because of my MM post! ♥ ♥ ♥
10. I just realized that I've drank almost all the red wine that we made over Winter. Which means I have no more.
11. It is my day off tomorrow which means I can stay in my jammies as long as I want!
12. It is also our hockey Mom's night out at the pub tomorrow night - so if I post tomorrow night, please disregard.
13. It dawned on me today at work that I should have some sympathy for 'poopy boy'. He goes to the bathroom (#2) 3-5 times during the work day - usually JUST before I decide I need to go in there. I used to think he did it on purpose, but now I realize he must have some sort of terrible disease. Or he needs to eat more roughage. One or the other.

yummmm! salmon, rice and asparagus, some of my absolute fave foods.....do you do cedar plank salmon? I'm dying to try it, but I'm afraid of starting a fire and embarrassing myself- although thankfully my neighbor next door is a fireman.

I've only ever won anything on the lottery when I really shouldn't have played it in the first place... Like one time I was totally out of cash, except for a dollar and ended up with three (that's right three) flat tires. Just outside a convenience store. I didn't even have the money in the bank for a tow at the time. I bought a lottery scratch ticket and won $50.00. Just enough to have the car towed home.

Actually, there was a law suit a few years ago, where a guy slipped on a wet floor in a grocery store. The store used his past purchases of booze to show he was probably drunk at the time and he lost!

It's been cold and rainy here, too, which is very odd for this time of year but I'll take it as that means I don't need to put my AC in yet!
My friend that I wrote my MM post about has called me every day this week, which is unusual with her and my lives and schedules, AND she has posted on just about every entry since then, too, so I am more than thrilled. Glad to hear that your friend was so touched by your post!
I need to get my kids to vacuum, too, but I don't have a spare $8 right now! How sad is that??
