What to do with this year's pumpkin?

Yesterday was a Pro-D day here, so Kristanna and I wandered around downtown. Our local grocery store had just got HUGE pumpkins in, so we picked up a couple. Now we're not sure what to do with them - they are really humongous! We were talking about it in the store, and another shopper said she had just watched Martha Stewart and got some cool ideas, so I checked it out.

I'm kind of partial to the ones where I can use tools (ie: easier), like this cute one:

Or a lollipop pumpkin, using a drill to make the holes:

Oh wait. Never mind. Found my favourite....

Although I won't be putting this one outside the front door!! hehe

I have done the lollipop pumpkin using a funkin before.
Funkins are those fake ones available at craft stores that you can carve.
I re-used my lollipop funkin for many years, when I worked corporate retail.
But you're right - the cooler pumpkin is a MUCH better choice!

How cool. I love them all especially the last one. I know, fill it with beer instead of sodas. Not American beer either. Have a great day. :)
