... in addition to the recent redirect to my dot com blog, I have now changed comments here to only allow those with a blogger ID.
It's getting tiresome to have to continuously delete so many 'comments', that are really only links to other sites - the number one offender being lavabeat.
So to all those who wish to comment and are unable (other than those with a Blogger ID), I apologize, but seeing 10+ fake comments in my inbox every morning is getting old.

Well, there you have it. It will probably happen to all of us sooner or later. You have to do what you have to do. Have a great day. :)
Hello Kai,
I had to put also this "comment approval" thing on my blog. I guess, after email spamming, we are now confronted with comment spamming.
Take care.
Peter
Do what you gotta do sometimes!!
It can definitely be irritating sometimes but I have found out about a lot of cool stuff through their posts.
Keep it movin!
this will not happen if you have some sort of ani-spam plugin
Just wanted to say hi and offer up a big hug. Have a great day sweetie. :)
A bulletin board-type site to talk about bloggers!
It’s brand new – get it going the way you would like to see it! New topics at will, and forums by request are yours for the asking.
Blogs are a wonderful way for the blogger to express his or her viewpoint…but they don’t allow much feedback if you happen to disagree, or if you really agree and want to amplify on it.
Razzlefratz.com provides a clean slate for you to vent…praise…flame…whatever.

Thank you,

Yes, spam gets horribly old.
Recently my personal blog ("mikesowden.org/feveredmutterings") was suffering about a hundred spam messages a day, lots of them coming in waves of 20 or 30. Since I've got authentication enabled they didn't go up, but it was a right royal pain in the fundamental to be going in and deleting them all the time.
However, I use Wordpress. And some bright spark out there had created a powerful free plugin spam filter, with Captcha built into it. Result: from 100 a day, I'm now only deleting one or two a week from my Pending queue. I immediately donated to the author of this marvellous little plugin using PayPal. :)
I'm wondering how much room there is in a Blogspot account for that kind of thing? If it allows third-party plugins? Allowing anybody to comment, but successfully filtering out the spammers, is the way to get a huge blip on the search engines.
Otherwise, I can thoroughly recommend Wordpress. :)
